and invited to join an Indiana County Youth Board, participate in a trip
to Harrisburg, and have part of their essays submitted as part of the
county’s national application to America’s Promise for 2010.
Applications due by April 10, 2009.
WOW! The America's Promise 100 Best Communities Forum was GREAT! The Indiana
Delegation (4 adults, 6 youth) spent 3 days in
Washington D.C. learning more about the 5 promises and the National Action Strategies.
We also did some pre-forum site seeing and enjoyed the
JOURNEY ACROSS AMERICA Celebration at Union Station.
